End Of June Holiday
I slept at 5am this morning after watching the match between Japan and Brazil. Brazil seemed to be scoring goals with a vengeance in this match. Woo. ;O
I went back to school for meetings the past 2 days. How terrifying. It's already the end of the holidays and school will be starting next Monday. I haven't even packed my workstation. -_-
Well, I'll be meeting some of my ex-pupils for lunch and then I guess I'll be going back to school to pack my table in the afternoon. At night, I'll be out! ;) Hm, maybe I should come home to sleep after lunch and leave the packing till tomorrow morning since the school will be opened in the morning. Then again, I suspect I'll be up between 11am and noon, so what's the point? Ah well... I'll see how it goes later.
Ah, I must remember to buy many trash bags. I've got plenty of trash at work and home to dump. Definition of trash: anything that I will not use for the next 6 months. That's Van's guideline when it comes to spring-cleaning and I'm going to adopt it!
Alright, I'd better get ready for lunch. I'm famished. ;)~~~

On Soccer And Driving
I'm hoping to have my dinner soon. Then I'll head down to Cheryl's place for the soccer match between Spain and Ukraine.
I met Pikie, her cousin and her friend last night at Shaw's McDonald's to watch the 9pm and midnight matches before coming back home to watch the 3am match. I'm not sure if I'll be joining them for the midnight match later though. It depends on whether they'll be staying on to watch and whether I'll be too tired.
Driving lesson today lasted 2 hours. By the time I climbed out of the car, my legs were stiff! I didn't get to do much parking today. Just about 3 times for parallel and then it started raining. Oh well, but at least I felt my driving was a lot smoother than when I drove on Monday. I hope I'll get better really soon. I've wasted so much time already. -_-
Hm, speaking of which, I'd better call the instructor now to book my driving dates.

Starting Over
It's a hot, hot, HOT afternoon - a complete contrast to the weather yesterday.
I'm finally starting over! I'm talking about my driving, of course. Haha.
I had my lesson this morning at 9am - finally - after a long, long hiatus. I stopped lessons since January this year due to work. To make sure that this time I don't stop halfway again, I went one step further - booked my practical test date! It's on the 9 November at 3.45pm.
Oh, and I saw Jieyong at the driving centre. He was there to take his theory test, I think. =)
Driving lesson was quite terrible - as expected. Well, I haven't driven for the past 5 months - lost the already-clumsy coordination I had managed to developed previously with the clutch, brake and accelerator. I killed the engine twice today too. The instructor simply shook his head. Haha.
Alright. I must pass my driving by the end of 2006 - latest by January/February 2007! Then, my next focus will be my Masters degree. I'm FINALLY going to take it next year. Will it be English Language or Mass Communications?
Hmmmmm...
I think I'm just going to apply for BOTH. Then I'll decide again when the time draws near. HAH!
Oh yes, I bought a skipping rope. I think I'm going to skip everyday instead of brisk walking once or twice a week. I need to lose all that weight by November. Yes, November is a 'happening' month, isn't it?

Boring Holiday
It's been a boring holiday so far. I went back to school everyday last week, meeting pupils one-to-one for English Language.
This week, I intend to go back only on Wednesday and Thursday. Tomorrow I'll be meeting my cousin. She went Batam last week so only replied my message six days later. -_-'''
I think I'm just going to read today. And maybe watch Munich on my laptop. I bought the VCD a few weeks back but was watching all the HK serials instead. Now that I'm done with all my HK serials, I'll watch the movies. Hah.
I just realised I've got a couple of books which I'd stopped reading since one year ago. So horrible. I think I've got to read one of them all over again. As for the other, I still remember vaguely what I'd read before.
I'll probably go for my brisk walk this evening. I woke up too late for that this morning. Yeah, I slept at only 3am. My insomnia is getting from bad to worse. =(
I wonder if Junmin is back. She said she'd be back around late May, but it's already June and she hasn't contacted me. Hm. I'll email her after this. I wonder how she's been.
Speaking of which, I just saw Shyama's email last night. Well, Shyama, if you're still reading my blog once in a while, sorry yeah. Haha. I'll go reply your email right after this.
Oh, if anyone's interested in canvas shoes, check this out: http://amalgam-co.blogspot.com. They're pretty cute and the prices are quite reasonable. I'm thinking of getting a few pairs myself. But because I'm moving soon, I think I'll only get them later. This way, I have fewer items to shift over to my new place.
I think my boring holiday will become a busy one soon.

Swatting Flies II
False alarm. It wasn't her. It was one of the Choir pupils. I passed the pupils all the required items and now I'm back, "swatting flies" again. How boring.
I've just checked with Imran. He won't be having anymore tennis lessons until the final week of the holiday. Just as well - since all the meetings will be during that week.
Anyway, the pupils have finally arrived. Definitely no more swatting of flies.

Swatting Flies
Alright, I'm not exactly swatting flies. There isn't a single fly in the staff room actually. I'm just waiting for pupils to turn up for my one-to-one consultation for EL. As usual, the 9am and 930am slots pupils didn't show up. SIGH.
I guess I can always pack my table, but it's so irritating to start and then stop every few minutes to see my pupils. So I'm just going to do all the frivolous stuffs until my first pupil turns up. Hopefully, I'll have more time later in the afternoon to start packing.
Speaking of which, she's already here.
No more swatting of flies.
