After A Few Days Of MIA
Okay. Here I am after a few days of MIA.
Well, exams have finally ended at school. No more invigilation, which means lessons as usual from tomorrow onwards. Sigh. I haven't thought of what to do with my 1H. I think I will probably do filing with them since I need to hand over the files to Yani for checking. I hope the kids remember to bring their files. :O
I have booked the library for 3E next Tuesday and the Geog room next Thursday. They're to do a book review and a movie review over the holidays. I'm wondering if I should ask a few pupils back to school for remedial. Probably slightly more than half the class will have to turn up for it. :O I'll have to break them into smaller groups. Hm... gotta think abt it.
It's a bad day tomorrow. It's going to be pretty packed day and, after that, I'm taking over Cheryl to invigilate Poh Yin for exams till 5pm. Sigh. Then it's down to church for jamming.
Song'en called just now to urge me to serve. He said he'd be calling Cindy to ask her too. I don't know. If I were to serve as a drummer, I'd be pretty tired out. I don't know. I hope not. I do enjoy serving in the ministry actually, but I'm also very much aware of my physical health. It's getting worse. Hm, think I'd better start that swimming regime real soon. :\
I just sent Lena's handphone number and email address to Jann. Hopefully, there'll be some contact. At least it'll be easier for me to invite Lena for cellgroup activities then.
I have arranged to meet Wanling for dinner next week, though we haven't decided on the time and venue. I hope to bring her for cellgroup activities in future. I've promised Van to take care of her before she left for China. I hope she will do Van proud one day.
I got arrowed to be the programme I/C for church anniversary. The other to-be-confirmed I/C is Edward. I hope we work well together. I don't think I can handle this alone. I'm totally clueless on how to start. :O Anyway, the meeting will be on the 2nd Saturday of June. Everyone will probably meet over dinner. Thank God it's going to be an informal one. I've had enough of boring (read: stuffy) meetings. *pukes pukes* :P
Hm, Sam hasn't replied me. I hope he's okay with the jamming at 6.30pm instead of 4pm. I wish he'd give a respond. At least let me know if he's okay with it. I wonder if Elaine can make it too now that she's working.
I will be going either FCBC's or Trinity's evening service with Mag this coming Saturday. I haven't attended FCBC's services for quite long. I used to go FCBC back in secondary school days with my family. I wonder if we'll get to see May there? Hahaha... I know she attends the evening service on Saturdays.
I just messaged Yani about whether I can return 3NA their paper 1 tomorrow. I hope she replies soon too. It's probably a bad time to ask her but, well, just try. If she doesn't reply, I won't return the kids their papers then.
Alright, think I'll stop blogging now. Blog again another day. :]

Updates For The Past 2 Days
Bonjour. Phew. It's a super hot morning. There's still no rain. :B
Well, I woke up pretty early - 8.15am. I took a long shower and had breakfast, which was some pastries that my mom had bought last night. Waw, she bought 3 boxes of pastries, 2 of which she would be bringing to her company's function later in the afternoon. Anyway, I couldn't seem to start on my marking (as usual). I just lazed around and voila! Almost 2 hours gone. :\ That's equivalent to marking 8 scripts. Oh well.
Cindy messaged to say that drum lesson will be at 2pm later. I think I'll bring my marking along so that when Song'en is teaching her, I can do some marking. Ugh. Thursday's jamming was quite bad. I didn't quite know what I was playing. :O Anyway, we started late as Sam was talking to Christina Thong about guitar. We had just an hour of jamming, which ended at around 6.15pm. I was late for my meeting with Lena. We decided to meet at Scotts instead.
I took the bus with Sam and Andy down town. I think they were meeting Elaine for dinner. On the way, Sam kept asking me what concerns I had on leading worship. I told him that I didn't feel ready spiritually, along with other worries on the technical aspects. Well, anyway, I think he understood. I asked him if I could start leading worship during the June break instead of this coming weekend, and he was fine by it. So, thank God!
I was super late when I met Lena. I messaged her to ask her to go ahead with dinner. We chatted a bit, catching up with each other. By the time we left and took the bus down to Pastor James's place, we were late for the session, which apparently started 15min late (8.15pm). We only arrived at about 8.30pm.
The lesson was on (from what I could gather) the corelation between a nation and a family (a strong nation is made up of strong families). It was pretty interesting. Fundamentally, what makes a nation strong is the same as what makes a family strong - character-building, which leads to the right morals and values. Hence, it's very important to build up the leader (the government for the nation; the father for the family). These are somehow linked to the 4 types of security: 1) material, 2) physical, 3) emotional, and above all, 4) spiritual. The leader, having a sound character, would probably be able to meet the 4 types of security which are important for a nation/family to be strong. If, in any event, the leader is unable to provide any of the 4 types of security, the nation/family will be in trouble. For example, if the father is unable to provide emotional security for his wife and children, it would probably result in a broken marriage, where the children would suffer the most.
The lesson ended at around 9.30pm. We mingled. Gina, as usual, crapped a lot but especially more so that night as she was tired. Hahaha... I hope Lena wasn't freaked out by her. I don't think so, because she actually messaged me later and asked me to invite her along if the gang were to organize any outing. :)
Tim and Christina Chua were around too. Poor little Eunice was quite agitated that night because 1) it was super humid, 2) there were so many people some of whom were strangers to her and 3) she was tired. She finally slept halfway through our lessons but woke up again when it ended. I guess we were all a bit noisy... there were around 20 people.
By the time I got home, it was 11plus. I was so tired that I concussed after bathing.
Yesterday was not too bad. After invigilation, I slept for abt 1.5 hours before marking. It was a pretty productive afternoon. I'm glad that I didn't go home as I probably would have slept instead. :O
On my way to meeting Pit Kun, I met Gary Tay (ex-pupil of QTSS from 3C 2000) on SBS111. The minute I boarded the bus and sat down, he came all the way up and greeted me, "Hi, Miss Tan!" He gave me quite a shock actually. I was a bit embarrassing as he was rather loud, which meant the entire bus probably knew that I am a teacher by profession. Hahaha... Anyway, he's actually quite a pleasant chap, though he was often bullied by his classmates when they were still at QTSS. Throughout the bus ride, he was gregarious (as usual... hahaha) and told me what he thought of polytechnic students as he compared them to JC students... especially the girls. *LOL* He noted that JC girls (who were from better schools like RGS) talked about politics, while polytechnic girls talked about "who is more handsome?" Hahahahah... Frankly, I don't think girls are very much different.
I guess the culture is very different in neighbourhood schools. It's not just the culture, but the kind of parents the pupils have. Generally, majority of pupils in neighbourhood schools do not have very highly educated parents while pupils in better schools have parents who are learned and sophisticated. Hence, there are very different expectations, resulting in very different culture in both types of schools.
There's probably no such thing as better or worse. OK, I'm being diplomatic here. But, seriously, society being as such - consisting of both educated and uneducated people - there really isn't any room for judging which type of school is better. Each school caters to a different breed/calibre of people. I guess it has a lot to do with what one aspires to be. Say, if a pupil aspires to be a lifelong persuer of being the best, he might want to go to ACS, whose school motto is, if I remember correctly, "The best is yet to be". Or, if a pupil aspires to return to society what it has given to him, he might want to come to QTSS, whose school motto is "Dare to serve"... serving the nation, the society. Basically it could be anyone.
Anyway, that was that. It was abt 5.40pm when i met Pit Kun. We went to look at some Swatch watches. I saw this orange strapped one, which I quite liked though Pit Kun said it wasn't nice. Oh well. :\ I didn't buy any anyway. I intend to look around more before buying one. Actually, I'm wondering if I should buy 2 - one for casual, one for work. I saw a CK watch quite a few months back - black and squarish, which I thought would be good for work. I didn't buy it though because I wasn't sure.
I couldn't quite decide what I wanted for dinner (as usual)... straddling between Italian and Chinese cuisines. Eventually we had Chinese. Alamak, as usual, Pit Kun didn't eat much. I think I shall bring her for buffet the next time - since she mentioned she tends to eat more during buffets. After that, we had desserts at HD. She must have been saving her stomach for the chocolate icecreams. x) It was quite nice, really. A pity my throat chose that moment to give me irritation, so I decided not to eat too much. I ordered a slice of blackforest later, only to realise it was mouldy. :O Thank God, we didn't eat much of it. No food-poisoning. I ordered a slice of cheesecake. It was not as good as I'd hoped it would be but, well, better than the blackforest one.
I was super full last night. It was a good thing we walked to Cineleisure to get Pit Kun's grandma's bread, after which we went home. I didn't realise I was tired actually. When I got home, I thought I'd rest a bit before bathing because I was feeling too hot and needed to cool down a bit first. Waw, I actually dozed off. This is really a sign of old age. Cheryl was mentioning the same thing too. We used to be able to stay up to 2-4am consistently when we were younger. But now, just one night of midnight oil-burning, we need 2-3 days of recuperation. :O
Hm. OK. I've been blogging for over an hour. It's actually LUNCH now. Good grief. It's time to EAT again. Probably eating porridge after those pastries I ate for breakfast. They were so sinful. ;O Hm, let me go ICQ first. BBL!

Eat & Heat
I had dessert with Cheryl while she ate her lunch from around 3pm till around 4plus just now. We ate at this rather nice cafe at Hotel Phoenix - Cafe de Amigo - which serves really fantastic apple pie. Of course, the cost is rather pricy - $7.50. But I guess it was worth it. The apple slices were cut really thin and baked crisp on a round pastry base and it came with a scoop of vanilla icecream. Simply tantalizing. I hope to try the Lemon Souffle the next time I go there. It sounds delicious. :)~
I had a bit of the French Onion soup which Cheryl ordered. It was too huge a bowl, so she shared some with me. We had some bread to go with the soup too. I pretty full by the time I finished my portion. She ordered this Leng Fish Fillet which looked good. It was sprinkled with almond-like nuts all over. I didn't try it as I didn't want to deprive her of her entire lunch. Hahaha. I'll probably eat it if I were to patronise the place again in future anyway.
It was good to just sit, eat and talk. We haven't done that for quite a while due to all the work and -extra- work - no thanks to the SARS virus. She went for her gym after the meal. Sigh. She's super healthy. Oh well, I think I shall start my swimming regime in June during the break. The teachers are encouraged to remain in Singapore anyway, so we can't go overseas - except for Sentosa, if you'd consider that as going overseas. :O
We might go for some spa package at a hotel. Cheryl was suggesting Sentosa's Beaufort. Well, I need to take a look at the price. If it's too expensive, I'd rather spa at some other place during the day and go back to my home at night to sleep. ;p
Well, I finally met up with Poh Yin, her mother and sister today. They were early in fact - thank God. Adeline gave her till Friday to come to a decision. So she'll call Cheryl and let her know her decision. I hope she stays.
Geez, it's so hot! No breeze at all! I wish it'd rain. At least the air wouldn't feel as humid and heavy.
I don't feel like eating dinner at all, what with all the mouth-watering food I had at the cafe earlier on. I'll probably cook a little porridge to eat later. Ugh. I'm getting most fat. Well, it doesn't matter. I'm probably gonna start on my fasting next week anyway. I'd better eat whatever good food I can now. :O
Right, I can't stand the heat finally - going to hit the showers. A bientot.

Mundane Stuffs
It's super hot today. Global warming is indeed true. I can't wait for the rain to come again.
Sam messaged to inform that there'd be jamming from 4-6pm this Thursday. I replied that I wouldn't be able to lead worship because my voice had been 'cracky' since last week - I need more time to recover. I may not be able to back him up for worship this coming Sunday too. Anyway, after jamming, I'll be meeting Lena for dinner at 6.30pm Newton MRT. We'll be eating at the Newton hawker centre before heading down to Pastor James's place. There's gonna be a gathering of an estimated 20-30 people. Pastor's conducting a session on building meaningful relationships based on biblical principles. It sounds useful.
I will be meeting up with Poh Yin, her mother and sister tomorrow afternoon. I hope they'll all turn up this time. Sigh. I just called her home. Her mother sounded distracted, as if in a daze. I hope she heard me correctly about the meeting time. I told her the matter could not be dragged any further.Sshe kept saying, "OK OK... Thank you..." Then she hung up.
I feel so tired. I've started marking on the Sec 3NA's EL paper one free writing section. Probably going marking with HL and Cheryl soon once HL's papers come in next Monday. I wonder where we can go marking this time round, what with SARS still on the loose. My dad will probably make a lot of noise abt my staying out at night to do marking. Well, I guess I'll just have to stay out to mark on selected nights, rather than every night then.
I forwarded the good chap a message when I got home. He responded with a 'thank you' and a smile. Dear Lord, I need the concrete confirmation soon. May You hasten the day and may Your will be done. Amen.
Alright. I should stop now. It's time to continue my marking. The deadline's on the 27th of May, which is like 1 week from now. Heh, I wonder how I'm going to finish marking 37 x 4 = 148 scripts. I gotta clear at least 21-22 scripts per day. :O
OK, au revoir!

A Lengthy Update
The weather is really hot and humid of late. I just switched on the air-condition in my room. I couldn't take the heat anymore.
It's the exam period again. Full invigilation began today. This year's a bit different because pupils have to do temperature taking before the start of each paper. I think after a while, everyone will get used to the routine.
I went pooling yesterday afternoon after church with the usual gang. Instead of going to our usual hangout, we went to one along Selegie Road, just a few blocks away from Hotel Rendezvous. Wenjie brought some sweet dessert which he made the previous day. I found it too sweet so I didn't really eat much of it. The rest gobbled 2 bowls of it! Gina bought some Ya Kun's kaya-butter bread - one of my favourites! I ate a lot of those - around 3 pairs of slices. Unfortunately, the bread wasn't hot enough by the time she bought them back from Taka even though she had taken a cab down to meet us! :O Anyway, mai hiam buay pai lah.
We pooled till around 6.15pm and decided to stop. On our way to the bus stop, I met Poh Yin and her family. I reminded her about the meeting on Wednesday afternoon. Sigh. i hope her mother and sister will turn up with her this time. I was supposed to meet her mother last Friday but she apparently woke up late and didn't bother to come. She could have at least called. :\ Sometimes, it's hard to blame the child for turning out the way he/she did. A lot of times, it's the fault of the parents.
I'm glad I have good parents and that they were so strict with me when I was younger. I do appreciate all their beatings and scoldings, though it all seemed very painful and hurtful back then. But truly, the results don't come forth until years later. It is not something that can be produced overnight.
Oh, we celebrated Kris' birthday on Saturdat. We went pooling at The Billiard Room. I couldn't join them at 2pm because I felt giddy and nauseated sometime around 10-11am. I managed to finish marking 1H's stack of letters by 11.30am but couldn't go to school as planned because the world just swayed when I tried standing up and I nearly threw up. I never knew what was wrong. Anyway, I took my temperature, praying hard that I didn't have a fever. I had none. I felt fine, other than the giddiness and nausea. So I slept, until it was time for lunch. But I still felt like throwing up, so I took my time to finish the porridge my mom cooked. By the time I finished though, I felt better. Still, I felt giddy so I continued my nap, until about 4.30pm. I woke up and realised that the ceiling had stopped spinning; I didn't feel giddy anymore.
Quickly, I changed and sent a message to Gina, who replied that they would be pooling till 6plus before heading down to Riverside Point for dinner. By the time I got down to The Billiard Room, it was almost 5.30pm. Well, I did have the chance to play a bit. 2 games actually, so it wasn't so bad. Gina left earlier to meet the rest at Riverside Point. She'd booked a table at an Indonesian restaurant. Fangling went to fetch Kris' mother - Kris predicted it. Actually, I think she knows us far too well and is able to anticipate what we had planned for her on her birthday. We even tried to trick her to accept her 'present' which was really just a serviette in an Isetan paperbag. Somehow she knew and said, "Aiyah, I know lah. You're going to trick me with this thing and then later present me with the real gift. Right? Right?"
Hahahah... what could we say? Seems like it's impossible to surprise Kris. We've been trying every year without success. Hm... I think we have to think even harder next year. Some of us suggested that we come up with reasons for not being able to celebrate with her next year, but if she were to make an appointment with other people, it'll be difficult to surprise her - a lot of coordination will be required. We were also toying with the idea of renting a boat and inviting some people to celebrate, but Kris' mom is rather old and we're not too sure if she's able to take the choppy currents at sea. Hm... maybe the first idea's better. Well, gotta think abt it.
On Vesak Day, I had jamming in church at 3pm. I had a gd time hitting the drums but I got stressed leading worship again. Sigh. I wish I'd stopped feeling stressed over it and just worship God. Sometimes it's so easy to do it. Other times it seems difficult. Anyway, we didn't leave church for Tim and Christina's place till around 6.30pm. We met Mag at the bus stop along Ave 3 and took 165 to Clementi. On the bus, Sam sent us an IQ question over SMS but we couldn't figure out the answer. Bah.
By the time we got to Tim and Chris's place, it was like 7plus. They'd ordered pizza and KFC. Poor little Eunice kept trying to grab at our food... and looked unhappy when her parents pulled her away. They tried to distract her with her colourful storybooks, but she chewed on her books instead! :O
We stayed till rather late 11plus, sharing about our direction in the worship ministry. I was quite surprised that Timothy understood what I'm going through. He used the phrase "opened to exploring", which is what I'm doing now - playing drums, writing songs, understudying Samuel in terms of leading congregational worship. They asked me if I'd thought of doing more. I said I didn't know because I'm confused and still have no idea what God has in mind for me. But then it also occurred to me - maybe God will give me something which I want to do? Tim mentioned that I don't have to limit myself to the church only... but what my heart desires to do for God. I just told him simply, "I want to sing for the Lord."
But now as I think abt it, it's not just singing. I want to write songs to praise and worship God too. Hm... I guess I gotta think and pray more abt this.
Right, it has been a long blog. I'll stop here. Bon nuit. ;]

Random Thoughts
I woke up at around 10.30am this morning. Actually, I was already up at around 9am but didn't have the willpower to drag myself out of the bed. Heh. ;B
Well, I had breakfast, packed my wardrobe and played a bit on the guitar. I think another new song is coming, but it's only one part of the song - don't know if it's the tune of the verse or chorus. I'll just have to keep playing it and see what happens. I hope to get one song out before May ends. :)
My mom's cooking lunch now. I wonder what she's cooking. I will probably be going down church slightly earlier to practise a bit on the drums. Yay, Cindy will be coming! Haha! Well, after that, we'll all be heading down to Timothy and Christina's place in Clementi for dinner. I wonder what's the big occasion. We suspect that it's a celebration for Tim's birthday, which is the same as Kris', 17th May. Or maybe they want to make some announcement. I hope it's something good.
We're gonna have a pool day with Kris on her birthday. Play pool the whole afternoon. We'd wanted to bring her for lunch, but she said it wasn't necessary as everyone else would be meeting for dinner later on in the day anyway. I think she just doesn't want us to spend too much money unnecessarily. One meal together is good enough. Well, I think Gina's gotten her the vouchers for her to do her shopping. She'll definitely use them - been quite some time since she last had new clothes. Besides, if she's going to give sermons more often in church, she needs something good.
La la la...
Hm, my parents are going to move my queen-sized bed to the apartment at Hazel Park. Haha... Yay! I'm finally rid of the bed! It's too huge and takes up too much space in my room. I think I shall use the sofa bed to sleep. That way, it creates more space when I'm not sleeping. And maybe I can buy some of those huge bean bags to throw around in my room. Hm... *ponder ponder*
I finally rebonded my hair last night. I went to Gina's hairdresser at Riverside Point. I think practically the entire cellgroup has gone there to do our hair with the hairstylist, Yvonne. She's very nice. Mag says she's from City Harvest. She's quite a funny lady. I can see that she likes Gina and Kris a lot as she talked about them pretty often last night. I could see that she was tired by the time I arrived to do my hair, which was already past 7 pm. In the process of rebonding my hair though, she was meticulous and was extremely 细心. I can't find an English word to substitute the Chinese words. It's apparent that she really loves her job.
I find that she speaks like my dad's youngest sister, one of my favourite aunts - Aunty Lay. very warm and friendly. I don't mean that Yvonne sounds very 'aunty'. It's just that the way she spoke reminded me of my aunt. Perhaps that was why I took to her at once.
Yep, I'm definitely returning to her to do some highlighting on my hair. :)
Well, by the time she was done with the rebonding, it was slightly after 11pm. Mag and I didn't go anywhere else though she did say she wanted to pub a bit. I told her I didn't want to. It's not a good place to be in general, other than 1) I'm hyper-sensitive to smoke (it triggers off a coughing fit), 2) SARS is still on the loose, 3) I wasn't in the mood to listen to music and/or talk. I just felt very tired and wanted to go home and eat some instant noodles.
That was what I did after a quick shower. But as I felt funny eating noodles without doing anything else, I switched on the TV and watched Steven Spielberg's Artificial Intelligence on HBO. I slurped on the noodles, sending messages to Pit Kun at the same time. Halfway through the movie, I must have somehow finished my noodles, but not realising I'd fallen asleep! Hahahah... so I didn't bother to finish watching the movie (wah, super slow-moving... seen it twice before actually - 1st time in the cinema, 2nd time on HBO a few days back), washed up the utensils and went to bed. It was already 2.30am by then. I was dead beat - zonked out the minute I hit the sack.
Hm. How eh? I've only thought of doing 2 songs for worship later. Andy's Reign In Me and Russell Fragar's Love You So Much (Hillsongs). I just need a praise song.
Oh, Lena is online now! It's so RARE to see her online on ICQ. OK, she just sent me a message. I'll go talk to her now. Byes!

Still At School
I'm in school at the moment. It's been a pretty good day - so far. I was just told that there'll be a meeting later at 2pm - regarding the thermometers. I think the school will be issuing these to the pupils on Friday morning. How exciting. :B
It's the trainee teachers' last day at QTSS today. Susan and Ming Ern each gave me something. So very kind of them. I think Ming Ern will be going to HCJC to teach one of the Sciences. Apparently, he was from NJC. Heh, to think we used to be 'neighbours' since HCJC is just across the road. I'm not too sure about Susan though. It would be good if she stays on. Well, she says it's up to God to decide. :)
Well, I can't meet Mag at 3pm due to the meeting. I just informed her about it. She's probably on her way to the saloon to do her hair now. I'm supposed to meet her latest 4.30pm at BQ's Coffee Beans. Then I'll be going for my appointment at the hairdresser's at 6pm. We'll probably eat an early dinner first before she goes home. I mean, I can't expect her to wait for 3 hours until my hair is done, can I?! :O We can't go for it together because, apparently, it's a one-man operation hairdressing saloon! Amazing! I heard she charges pretty high. Anyway, I intend to do the vertical relaxer, instead of rebonding. less damaging to the hair, and not as straight, which looks more natural. And if it's not too costly, I'm thinking of doing some colouring. Ha, there goes my salary.
Good thing I've had my lunch already. Once the meeting is over, I'm ready to hit BQ. Probably do some marking there while waiting for 6pm to arrive. Speaking of which, I hope the hairdresser accepts credit card or NETS. I'm pretty cashless. :B
OK, I can't blog anymore. It's time to look for the kids in the Music Room to tell them the declaration forms are to be submitted on Fri.
Wait a minute...
Hahahahah... a pause there. I heard some familiar voices outside the staffroom and managed to catch some of the boys who were walking past the staffroom up to the Music Room. Phew, they saved me a trip upstairs! I told them to pass the message to the rest of the class.
OK, Mag just sent me a message. Now we're to meet at Liang Court instead. It seems that BQ is too far away.
I shall stop here. Blog again another time. Ciao!

Blogs And Stuffs
Salut! Ca va bien?
Je connais, this looks silly. I've been doing one blog after another and deleting them, but I really can't stand the stupid archive! Messed up the blogpage. I couldn't even read what I'd posted before. *bleah*
Anyway, it doesn't matter. Not that what I'd been blogging before was of great and utmost importance. I'm just being a fusspot here. ;P
As long as my joyziesongs blogpage doesn't mess up, I'm contented enough. :)
Right. It's been quite a hectic day at work. Tuesday's timetable had been switched to Thursday's, which is actually the 2nd worst day of the week for me. But it wasn't so bad today compared to the past few Thursdays. The trainee teacher, Ming Ern, still took my EL lessons with 1H today (for the last time actually). These being the first 2 periods, it gave me a lot of time to finish up quite a bit of marking. And then, Grace offered to take the entire 2C today for LQ as i'd taken 2B last Friday, including her group. So, I didn't have lessons until right after the 2nd recess. It was CPA with 3G. I punished a few students for being late and scolding vulgarities - made one of them run round the building 5 times for spewing bad language.
After CPA, it was EL with 3E. I went through the passage on "Interpol" with them in the Geog Room. They were rather noisy today - I wonder why - so I wasn't too pleased, esp when I've already mentioned that I had a sorethroat. I thought the class would have the sense to be more considerate - allow me to teach and allow interested learners to listen. Well, over the past few weeks, they complained that the classroom was too hot. Yet now when I bring them to a special room, I don't see them really paying attention. Perhaps, one reason was because some of them did not do their work at all and came to lesson to copy model answers. Well, God forgive me, but I hope they'll just get what they deserve by the end of this semester. No malicious thoughts here, but simply what they deserve. If they did not pay attention, yet are intelligent enough to do well in the papers, so be it.
Sam just called. Hm, jamming will be postponed to an afternoon timeslot. Apparently, Timothy and Christina Chua have invited the worship team to go to their place for dinner, so he's thinking of pushing back the jamming time so that we can make our way to Tim and Chris's place for dinner together. It doesn't matter. All the better. I think Cindy should be able to join in the jamming if it's in the afternoon - since she couldn't make it at 10am due to an appointment with Kris at 11am.
I don't know if my throat will heal by then for worship jamming. I may not have to lead worship if throat's still sore. Hm, maybe I'll try the guitar/keyboard if nobody minds. Hahahah... I'll probably shock them to death with my awful skills.
OK, Cindy just called me. It's confirmed that jamming on Thursday will be at 3pm, after which we'll be all going to Tim's place. Now I'm arranging the hair thingy with Mag on ICQ. Hm, I think I shall stop blogging.
Bon nuit!
